Role Overview

We are supporting a confidential IFS Cloud customer who is seeking an experienced IFS Cloud Technical Consultant on a contract basis. The consultant will play a critical role in the design, development, and support of technical solutions within an active IFS Cloud environment, supporting both ongoing enhancements and project-based work.

This role requires deep, hands-on technical expertise across the IFS Cloud technical stack and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver technical solutions within IFS Cloud using best-practice approaches
  • Develop and maintain:
  • IFS Cloud
  • Custom Objects and Configurations
  • Build and support integrations using:
  • REST APIs
  • IFS Events
  • Middleware platforms where applicable
  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL code within Oracle databases
  • Support data migration, data fixes, and data validation activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Cloud environments
  • Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical designs
  • Support IFS Cloud upgrades, releases, and regression testing
  • Ensure solutions align with IFS Cloud upgrade-safe principles
  • Produce clear technical documentation

Essential Technical Skills

  • Strong, proven experience as an IFS Technical Consultant working specifically with IFS Cloud
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • IFS Cloud Extension Framework
  • Custom Objects & Configuration
  • PL/SQL & Oracle Database
  • IFS Events & APIs
  • Strong understanding of:
  • IFS Cloud architecture
  • Upgrade-safe development principles
  • IFS security model, permissions, and environments
  • Experience supporting live IFS Cloud customers

Desirable Experience

  • Experience delivering IFS Cloud implementations or post-go-live support
  • Integration experience with third-party systems
  • Experience working in multi-country IFS Cloud environments
  • Previous contract experience within IFS ecosystems
