IT Support Technician (1st & 2nd Line)

We're looking for an IT Support Technician to join a friendly, growing team and provide a mix of 1st and 2nd line support across the business. This is ideal for someone with a solid 1st line background who's ready to step up, get stuck into more complex issues and grow their career.

What you'll be doing:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for IT issues (phone, email, tickets)
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software and basic network problems
  • Supporting device and account setups, and standard software installs
  • Taking on 2nd line tickets – servers, networks, applications, AD and O365
  • Assisting with hardware repairs, installs and IT projects
  • Documenting fixes and helping to mentor more junior team members

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in 1st line support (2nd line exposure a bonus)
  • Knowledge of Windows/macOS, networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS), Office 365
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Organised, proactive and calm under pressure
  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • CompTIA / Microsoft certs are a plus
