Role: Fusion Payroll & Benefits Techno-Functional Lead

Role description:
This role requires a blend of technical and functional expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM modules, and strong leadership skills to successfully lead implementation project and support ongoing operations in the HCM domain.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle Fusion UK Payroll, ensuring timely resolution of incidents
Support end-to-end UK payroll cycles, including:
- Pre-payroll validations
- Payroll calculation and auditing
- Payment processing and costing
- Post-payroll reconciliation and reporting
Handle UK-specific statutory payroll processes, including:
- RTI Submissions (FPS, EPS)
- P45, P46, P60, P11D
- Statutory Payments (SMP, SSP, SAP, SPP, SHPP)
- Apprenticeship Levy
- Student Loans & Postgraduate Loans
- Auto-enrolment Pension
- Support statutory integration with HMRC
Analyze and resolve payroll issues related to:
- Payroll Elements and Balances
- Fast Formulas (Payroll, Calculation, Absence)
- Payroll Flow orchestration
- Costing and accounting integration
- Conduct Quarterly update (Patches) impact analysis and regression testing, ensuring UK statutory changes are validated
- Collaborate with business teams and provide functional requirements documentation, configuration and testing support
- Prepare support documentation (SOPs), issue RCA and functional design documents
Key skills/knowledge/experience :
- Strong hands-on understanding of UK-specific statutory rules:
- PAYE, NI categories, Tax codes
- RTI (FPS, EPS, NVR)
- Pension auto-enrolment
- Statutory Payments (SMP/SSP/etc.)
- Apprenticeship Levy
- Expertise in:
- Payroll configuration (Elements, Balances, Rate Definitions)
- Fast Formulas
- HCM Extracts
- HDL/HSDL
- Experience supporting monthly/weekly payroll cycles in a production environment with SLAs
- Strong experience handling Fusion quarterly statutory updates for UK
