Technical Product Owner in Animal Health Manufacturing - Inside IR35
Role: TPO MSD Animal Health Manufacturing
Rate: 375.00£/day inside Ir35
Location: remote UK
The TPO will support multiple products - including utility analytics (energy monitoring with sensors and vendor Clockworks), an internal Power App (user acceptance testing), and a document management system.
Activities:
Vision and Strategy
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy.
- Align product goals with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress.
- Facilitate decision-making and trade-offs between features, scope, and timelines.
- Use insights to inform product decisions and backlog prioritization.
Release Planning and Management
- Plan product releases and coordinate with support teams and users.
- Define release goals and success metrics.
- Monitor product performance post-release and iterate accordingly.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product.
- Track product metrics and analyse data to inform decisions.
- Report progress and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvements within the product development life cycle.
Keeping the Business Running
- Support business continuity by planning for disaster recovery and risk mitigation related to the product.
- Co-ordinate with support and operations teams to address critical incidents and user issues.
- Maintain documentation and training materials for internal teams and users.
- Monitor and manage product licensing or subscriptions whilst comply with internal financial processes.
