Manchester - twice per week in the office

I'm currently looking for a Product Owner for an initial 3-month contract to lead the definition and stakeholder alignment, shape user journeys and solution options, drive business case development through governance and prepare the product backlog and project materials to ensure programme proposition is ready for delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience developing business cases for complex, multi-stakeholder programmes.

• Strong background in proposition development, service design, or product strategy.

• Ability to run structured stakeholder engagement, including SMEs, sponsors, and governance bodies.

• Skilled in problem definition, journey mapping, options analysis, and benefits modelling.

• Experience navigating governance, securing approvals, and responding to formal review processes.

• Strong communication skills, including the ability to create executive-ready papers and present recommendations.

• Comfortable working in fast-moving project environments with clear deadlines and interdependencies.
