Change Analyst / Excel Analyst

Outside IR35 / 3-5 months+ initially / Remote (UK based applicants only) Role: The IT Service Operating Model Change Analyst supports the design, tracking, and implementation of changes to the IT Target Operating Model. The role provides senior leaders with clear, accurate data and insight to support decisions relating to IT services, headcount, roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines as priorities evolve.This role sits at the intersection of data, people, and change. It is responsible for maintaining a single, trusted view of the IT service operating model and supporting the practical execution of change through strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and coordination.Key Activities: 
  • Maintain an accurate, up-to-date view of the IT service operating model, including roles, headcount, reporting lines, and responsibilities
  • Track and document changes to IT services, teams, and operating structures as decisions are made
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based trackers, models, and analysis to support leadership decision-making
  • Support senior leaders with clear data and insight on the impact of operating model changes
  • Engage with senior management, middle management, and delivery teams to validate information and support change execution
  • Act as a coordination point between IT, HR, recruitment, and transformation teams
  • Support recruitment and resourcing activities, including tracking approvals, progress, and impacts
  • Prepare leadership materials including presentations, summaries, and briefing packs
  • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and follow-ups related to service and operating model changes
  • Ensure documentation and data remain current in a fast-changing environment
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and support as priorities shift
Background required:·       Experience supporting business, IT, or service transformation initiatives·       Strong experience managing complex data sets, particularly relating to people, roles, and services·       Experience engaging confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation·       Experience working in environments with changing priorities and incomplete information·       Exposure to IT service models, operating models, or organisational design is desirable·       Strong analytical and data management skills·       Advanced Excel capability (e.g. pivot tables, formulas, modelling)·       Clear written and verbal communication skills·       Confident stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills·       Ability to turn ambiguity into structured, usable information·       Strong organisational and coordination capability·       Proactive, inquisitive, and comfortable challenging unclear or inconsistent information·       Able to balance detail with a broader operating model perspective At Investigo, we make recruitment feel easy.
