The Lead Data Architect is responsible for defining and governing the strategic direction of data architecture in the business with a particular focus on SAP-based data ecosystems within the UK Link platform.

1. SAP Data Architecture Strategy

• Maintain enterprise-level data architecture standards for UK Link

• Own the design of data models and structures

2. Data Governance & Compliance

• Enforce master data management (MDM), data quality, classification, and retention policies across SAP systems

• Establish and maintain data lineage and metadata strategies

3. Integration & Interoperability

• Design scalable and secure data interfaces between SAP and non-SAP

• Support the architecture of data replication, transformation, and reporting layers, especially involving SAP BW and analytics platforms

4. Solution Review & Assurance

• Participate in change reviews to ensure SAP data components are impacted

• Review SAP-related changes or enhancements from a data perspective
