Technical Business Analyst
6 Month initial contract **Inside IR35**
We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a strategic re-platforming programme for a customer-facing online claims handling portal. This role sits at the heart of multiple delivery squads and plays a key part in shaping modern, API-driven customer journeys across our claims ecosystem.
What you’ll be doing
- Analyse front-end designs and back-end API specifications to produce clear end-to-end mapping documentation
- Create high-quality user stories capturing requirements for our back-end claims handling systems
- Analyse and document “AS IS” business logic within the existing portal to help define and optimise future customer journeys
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support refinement queries and backlog grooming
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Architects, and multiple delivery squads
What we’re looking for
- Strong understanding of API-driven architectures and the technical stack supporting customer journeys:
- Front End
- Insurance experience
- BFF (Backend for Frontend)
- APIs
- Core Back-End systems
- Proven experience working as a Technical Business Analyst in an Agile environment
- Excellent working knowledge of JIRA, including backlog management and refinement
- Solid estimation skills to support sprint and delivery planning
- Domain knowledge of Motor and/or Household insurance
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across multiple teams and technical disciplines
