Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Business Development Manager based in the United Kingdom, with a hybrid working arrangement. You’ll create new opportunities, build senior relationships, and run the end‑to‑end sales process—prospecting, discovery, solution shaping with technical teams, proposal development, and closing. Expect multithreaded sales cycles, complex buying groups, and deals built on value. You'll have an advantage if you're already active in the industry or in a related field.
You’ll position JUMPSEC's capability across penetration testing, red/purple teaming, attack surface management, MXDR, incident response, defensive consulting, and managed services. It's diverse and client-focused, presenting a massive opportunity for a candidate with a proactive mindset, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels. You’ll forecast with discipline in HubSpot and maintain a healthy, data‑driven pipeline.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Business Development, Sales, and Account Management across both short and long-term sales cycles.
- Demonstrable ability to research and analyse emerging trends and how they apply to your clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- High level of organisation, adaptability, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Client Relationship Management and delivering customised solutions
- Knowledge of the cybersecurity or IT industry is preferable and highly advantageous
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
