IT Technician – Supporting Social Care Through Technology
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to support a multi-site social care organisation in North Yorkshire. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys varied technical work and wants to make a positive impact on frontline care services.
Location: Primarily North Yorkshire with travel across regional sites
Salary: £25,000–£28,000
Requirements: Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality 1st/2nd line support and resolve technical issues across multiple sites.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Deploy and secure desktops, laptops and mobile devices (Windows 11).
- Support digital improvement projects and infrastructure upgrades.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and user guides.
- Experience in IT support (1st/2nd line).
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills.
- Hands-on experience with Windows 11 and hardware troubleshooting.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical users.
- Logical, proactive problem-solving approach.
- IT certifications (Microsoft 365, CompTIA).
- Basic networking knowledge.
- Experience in social care, healthcare or charity environments.
- Familiarity with mobile device management (e.g., Intune).
