An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Assistant to join a busy Helpdesk. This is a customer-focused role where you will act as the first point of contact, providing guidance, resolving queries, and ensuring a high standard of service is delivered at all times.
You will handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls and emails, working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently and see them through to completion. The role also involves supporting the wider team.
Key Responsibilities- Managing day-to-day customer queries via phone and email
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve service issues
- Logging, updating, and closing cases accurately within internal systems
- Completing tasks within agreed deadlines
- Carrying out administrative duties, including obtaining and uploading legal documentation
- Providing ad-hoc support to other team members as required
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a customer service–focused role
- Highly motivated with a proactive and driven approach
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and the wider MS Office suite (Outlook, Word)
