Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing systems, applications, or infrastructure to gather data critical for migration planning.
  • Identify dependencies, resource utilization, and performance metrics to inform migration strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration goals, timelines, and success criteria.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track migration progress and performance.
  • Provide data-driven insights to identify risks, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities during the migration process.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Document findings, processes, and best practices to support decision-making and future migrations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven 8+ experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in migration projects or IT infrastructure.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, or R).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Understanding of system dependencies, resource planning, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with migration projects (e.g., cloud migration, application migration, or infrastructure migration).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
  • Knowledge of data migration tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, virtualization, or containerization concepts.
  • Certifications in data analysis, cloud platforms, or related fields.

3. Status Reporting and Customer Focus on an ongoing basis with respect to project and its execution

  • Capturing all the requirements and clarifications from the client for better quality work
  • Taking feedback on the regular basis to ensure smooth and on time delivery
  • Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
  • Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
  • Documenting very necessary details and reports in a formal way for proper understanding of software from client proposal to implementation
  • Ensure good quality of interaction with customer w.r.t. e-mail content, fault report tracking, voice calls, business etiquette etc
  • Timely Response to customer requests and no instances of complaints either internally or externally
