Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Network Service Governance Lead to provide governance, oversight, and strategic direction for enterprise network services. This role ensures network reliability, security, compliance, and alignment with wider business and digital transformation objectives.
You will establish governance frameworks, performance standards, and vendor management structures that enable high-performing, secure, and cost-efficient network operations across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities Governance & Framework- Develop and maintain the Network Service Governance Framework aligned with enterprise IT, architecture, and security policies.
- Define network policies, standards, SLAs, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
- Chair service review boards and governance forums to drive accountability and transparency.
- Monitor and report on service performance, SLA compliance, and incident trends.
- Drive continual service improvement initiatives to enhance availability and end-user experience.
- Oversee network change, incident, and problem management processes to ensure service stability.
- Govern performance of managed service providers, telecom partners, and hardware vendors.
- Lead contract reviews, renewals, and vendor scorecard management.
- Manage escalations, remediation actions, and service credits.
- Ensure network services comply with enterprise cybersecurity, data protection, and audit requirements.
- Maintain a network risk register and track remediation actions.
- Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance activities.
- Oversee network service budgets, forecasting, and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Govern capacity and demand management aligned to business growth.
- Provide cost transparency through governance reporting.
- Align network services with digital transformation initiatives (Cloud, SD-WAN, Zero Trust).
- Partner with Architecture and Security teams on technology roadmaps and design standards.
- Ensure governance and operational readiness for new network initiatives.
- Act as the single point of accountability for network service governance.
- Present performance, risk, and improvement outcomes to CIO and senior IT leadership.
- Foster collaboration across Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Business IT teams.

- 8–10 years’ experience in enterprise network services or governance roles
- Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and cloud networking
- Proven ITIL / ITSM process governance experience
- Vendor and contract management expertise
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity and compliance requirements
- Mandatory: Project Management experience
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills
