ServiceNow Platform Administrator / Developer
Location: Warwick UK (Hybrid)

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Administrator / Developer to support, maintain, and enhance our ServiceNow environment. This is a hands-on technical role focused on platform optimisation, configuration, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets operational needs, aligns with ITIL best practices, and delivers high-quality digital service experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor ServiceNow platform health, performance, and capacity.
- Apply patches, upgrades, and maintain overall platform stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues; escalate to ServiceNow support where required.
- Configure and support core modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog.
- Develop workflows, UI forms, client/server scripts, notifications, dashboards, and UI pages.
- Create and maintain user roles, groups, ACLs, and access policies.
- Maintain and improve CMDB accuracy, health, and data integrity.
- Implement ITIL-aligned service management processes.
- Identify automation opportunities and deliver enhancements using scripting and workflow tools.
- Support Agile/SCRUM development cycles and iterative releases.
- Deliver technical documentation, knowledge articles, and end-user guidance.
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems.
- Provide consulting expertise on ServiceNow functionality and best practices.
- 4–5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow administration and development.
- Strong proficiency in ServiceNow Core Platform, including ITSM, ITOM, TPRM, Service Portal, and Scoped Applications.
- Experience configuring workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of SaaS-based ServiceNow environments.
- Solid grounding in ITIL processes: Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB.
- Technical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and platform scripting.
- Experience troubleshooting, optimising workflows, and improving platform performance.
- Strong process and project management capabilities.
- ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience working with ServiceNow domain separation.
- Previous experience in external client-facing consulting roles.
- Candidates must be SC Cleared or eligible to undergo SC clearance.
