Work Pattern :Hybrid working model /2–3 days per week onsite in Warwick Security Requirements:Active SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC clearance is essential.Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and pass relevant background checks Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Administrator / Developer to support and enhance a secure ServiceNow environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and optimising the ServiceNow platform, ensuring stability, performance, security, and alignment with business and ITIL best practices.
This role requires strong hands-on ServiceNow administration and development experience, combined with excellent stakeholder engagement and process improvement skills.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor ServiceNow platform health and performance; apply patches and upgrades
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues, escalating to ServiceNow support when required
- Ensure compliance with organisational standards, security policies, and governance
- Configure and support ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog
- Develop and maintain workflows, forms, scripts, and automation
- Manage notifications, UI pages, dashboards, and Service Portal components
- Create and manage user roles, groups, and ACLs
- Maintain CMDB health, accuracy, and data integrity
- Implement and support ITIL best practices across service management processes
- Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimisation
- Support Agile/SCRUM delivery and iterative platform enhancements
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
- Provide guidance, training, and support to end users and stakeholders
- Gather requirements, design, develop, and maintain integrations with third-party applications
- Deliver client-facing consulting support within a technology-focused environment
- Mandatory: ServiceNow (SaaS)
- Minimum 4–5 years’ hands-on experience in ServiceNow administration and development
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Core and Platform modules
- Hands-on experience with ITSM, ITOM, TPRM, Service Portal, and Scoped Applications
- Experience with workflow design, scripting, integrations, and performance tuning
- Strong understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, and Service Catalog
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting
- Experience working with ServiceNow domains
- Solid background in troubleshooting and optimising workflows and scripts
- Strong process management and project management skills
- Experience working in Agile / SCRUM environments
- ServiceNow System Administrator Certification
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification
- ITIL Foundation
