Our client are looking for a resilient, empathetic, and driven Graduate Business Development Executive to join a growing organisation leading the way in Procurement and Financial Technology solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to build commercial experience, develop sales skills, and work with a range of innovative FinTech and SaaS products that help businesses access cash faster and grow more effectively.

The Role

You will be part of a collaborative Business Development Team, responsible for onboarding suppliers to internal procurement Programmes and introducing them to new suites of data and SaaS platforms. These tools help suppliers improve cashflow and identify public sector tender opportunities to support their business growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Explaining and pitching the company’s core product offering and other FinTech / Data products.
• Procuring new suppliers through direct outreach, follow-up on marketing campaigns, and collaboration with internal teams.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing suppliers to identify future opportunities for additional products.
• Negotiating participation rates and commercial terms.
• Identifying cross-selling opportunities for our SaaS solutions.
• Making outbound contact to existing free SaaS users to upgrade them to paid subscriptions.
• Updating CRM systems with notes, call-backs, and progress reports.
• Handling and overcoming objections confidently and professionally.

Applicants will have a strong academic degree of equivalent career professional looking to start a career in business development or FinTech.

A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a natural curiosity about technology and finance.
