CHIS IIU Data Analyst Specialist

Job summary

This role will support the Child Health Information Service's - Improving Immunisation Uptake Team (CHIS - IIU) on delivery of a new commissioned team within the Child Health Information Service in regard to Pre-School Immunisations data collection from the GP Based programmes.

The post holder will support the team and high-level reporting monitoring uptake and improvements to CHIS, GP's and commissioners.

The post holder will be required to develop reporting mechanisms using trust programmes to highlight potential areas of improvement with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Essential
  • Level 6 qualification (e.g. Bachelor degree BA/BSc, NVQ level 6, ordinary degree without honours) or equivalent demonstrable experience
Desirable
  • Analytical/data intelligence/informatics qualification
  • Leadership/management qualification

Experience

Essential
  • Experience in an analytical role including interpreting and presenting complex information and analysis
  • Experience of managing projects and undertaking evaluation
  • Experience of handling highly confidential and sensitive information
Desirable
  • NHS experience
  • Intermediate experience of a financial system i.e. Agresso including experience of managing budgets
  • Management / leadership experience

Knowledge

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office packages e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Specialist knowledge of statistical/analytical techniques, methodologies and procedures
