About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Support (2nd Line)
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve application-related incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
  • Escalate complex issues where required and ensure effective follow-up with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Incident Management & Triage
  • Conduct structured incident triage and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain service quality standards through accurate documentation, issue tracking, and reporting.
  • Project Delivery & Application Enhancements
  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of new application rollouts and system enhancements.
  • Manage defined workstreams or end-to-end application projects under the guidance of senior IT stakeholders.
  • Change Management
  • Support and implement major application change requests, ensuring minimal operational risk.
  • Coordinate testing, deployment, and stakeholder communications to support smooth adoption.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Work closely with internal business users to understand evolving local and regional requirements.
  • Maintain effective relationships with third-party vendors and support partners.
  • Contribute to the execution of the European application strategy within Solina's global IT organisation.
  • Training & Documentation
  • Produce and maintain user guides, system documentation, and training materials.
  • Deliver end-user training for new systems or enhanced functionality.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in application support, business applications, or application delivery roles.
  • Essential experience within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Exposure to the food industry or food safety standards is highly advantageous.

Required Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, including Power Platform, SharePoint, and Dynamics.
  • Demonstrable project delivery capability, including planning, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.

Preferred Skills

  • Proactive, structured, and solution-focused approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience operating in multicultural and multilingual environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, operational setting.
