Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Near Trowbridge, Hybrid with 3 days in the office per week
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 (plus competitive commission)
We’re working with a friendly, well-established digital agency that’s looking for a Business Development Executive to join their team.
They offer a range of services from web development to SEO and PPC. Their clients are mostly small to medium-sized businesses, so there’s always plenty of variety in the work.
What you’ll be doing
Working closely with the wider team to really understand the agency offerings, so you can confidently recommend the right digital solutions
Talking to potential clients and turning good conversations into new business, using phone, email, and LinkedIn, whether the lead’s inbound, warm, or cold
Running the full sales process, from scoping and proposals to negotiation and closing. Before handing on to the delivery team.
Researching and reaching out to potential clients in relevant sectors to grow the pipeline and bring in new opportunities
Keeping on top of your pipeline, staying organised, and working towards clear targets.
The experience you’ll need
Experience working in digital sales, business development, or a similar in an agency setting.
A proven track record of working to targets and consistently hitting (or exceeding) them
Comfort and confidence picking up the phone, building rapport, and having conversations with prospective clients.
A proactive mindset, with the motivation to spot opportunities and make things happen
