Snowflake Architect
Intro:
Our client is a global systems integrator seeking a Snowflake Architect for an initial 6-month contract (Outside IR35) based in Central London. You’ll join a high-performing team delivering a major data modernisation programme for one of their key end-user customers.
What you’ll work on:
- Designing and implementing modern data architectures across cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Building and optimising Snowflake-based data solutions to support enterprise-wide analytics.
- Translating business requirements into robust technical designs, specifications, and solution documentation.
- Developing and implementing ETL, data integration, and data migration pipelines.
- Designing and implementing master data management (MDM) systems and processes.
- Defining and implementing data quality frameworks, controls, and monitoring processes.
- Supporting the build-out of advanced analytics capabilities, including data science, AI, ML, and data visualisation.
- Producing high-quality documentation including HLDs, LLDs, data models, configuration details, and platform setup
What you’ll bring:
- Ability to produce clear, structured documentation including HLDs, LLDs, and technical design artefacts.
- Strong, hands-on experience with Snowflake in enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and detailed specifications.
- Deep experience designing and implementing BI and modern data analytics platform solutions.
- Strong background in data architecture, data modelling, and cloud-native data engineering.
- Expertise in ETL, data integration, and data migration design and delivery.
- Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, tooling, and governance processes.
- Exposure to data science, AI, ML, and data visualisation concepts and platforms.

- Day rate: £700PD - £750PD
