Product & AI Strategy Manager – Employee #2 (AI Start-up)
This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for a talented Product & Strategy Manager to join a high-growth AI start-up as employee number two, working directly with the Founder and securing meaningful equity from day one.
The Founder has launched an AI Transformation consultancy after years of building deep expertise and senior-level relationships. The business operates across two closely connected pillars:
- A new AI platform (currently at MVP stage and entering fundraising)
- AI transformation consulting, primarily within Financial Services, delivering large-scale programmes for well-known organisations
You'll be playing a critical role across both.
- Product Owner for the AI platform — taking full ownership of product development, scaling from MVP through fundraising and beyond.
- Delivery & Strategy Lead on AI transformation programmes — supporting major client engagements where required.
This role spans the full lifecycle: product design, roadmap ownership, GTM strategy, investor discussions, engineering leadership, and hands-on delivery of complex AI transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the AI product from MVP to a market-ready platform
- Define product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market approach
- Work closely with engineers (internal and external) to deliver high-quality solutions
- Participate in investor conversations and fundraising efforts
- Lead or support sizeable AI transformation programmes for enterprise clients
- Engage confidently with C-level stakeholders across clients and partners
Requirements
- Strong background as a Product Manager, with experience taking products from 0 → 1
- Hands-on experience in AI transformation programmes, either leading or co-owning delivery
- Comfortable managing and coordinating engineering teams
- Excellent communication skills, including experience with senior executives and investors
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity
