Role Profile

We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented FP&A Project Accountant to support a strategic transformation within our finance function. This full-time, fixed-term role (initially 6 months) will play a pivotal part in modernizing our financial planning and analysis capabilities.

Our current reporting suite is driven by manual, Excel-based outputs sourced from NetSuite datasets. We are embarking on a transformation to streamline and automate this process, anchored by the implementation of the Abacum FP&A platform. This role will be instrumental in cleansing and structuring data, redefining reporting outputs, and enabling a scalable, insight-driven FP&A function.

The role will report to the Head of FP&A and will be based in the company headquarters in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of the Abacum FP&A tool to automate and enhance business reporting.
  • Redesign the suite of management reports, dashboards, and workflows to align with strategic objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and refine reporting requirements.
  • Map ERP data structures (NetSuite) to Abacum, ensuring seamless integration and alignment.
  • Validate and prepare historical data for accurate migration and reporting continuity.
  • Develop product-level profitability P&L reports to support performance analysis and strategic decision-making.
  • Automate constant currency P&L reporting to improve comparability and insight.
  • Establish a feedback loop to identify and resolve data integrity issues at source.
  • Support additional ad hoc finance initiatives as required.

Essential

  • Proven experience in FP&A, with a strong understanding of financial systems and reporting processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or contribute to finance system implementations or upgrades.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement and data integrity.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a high level of ownership and accountability.

Desirable:

  • You are commercially minded – seeing the 'big picture' as well as understanding the fine details
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building

  • Day off for your birthday - because you deserve to celebrate
  • Life Assurance for 4 x Salary
