Head of FP&A

A fast-growing, technology-driven organisation is seeking an experienced Head of FP&A to lead its financial planning and analysis function during an exciting period of expansion and transformation. This is a high-impact role with significant exposure to commercial decision-making and strategic direction.About the RoleAs the Head of FP&A, you will oversee a team of three analysts and take ownership of the full planning, forecasting and performance reporting cycle. You will partner closely with senior leadership to provide insight, challenge assumptions, and shape key business decisions.This role is ideal for a proactive, commercially minded finance leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys influencing strategy across the organisation.Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three FP&A professionals.- Own budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and monthly performance reporting.- Provide high-quality financial insight to support commercial initiatives and investments.- Build strong relationships with operational and commercial teams to drive performance.- Support the executive team with strategic planning, scenario analysis, and decision support.- Enhance financial models, tools, and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.- Present financial results and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.About YouProven experience in FP&A leadership, ideally within a fast-paced or scaling environment.Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate data into actionable insight.Track record of influencing senior leaders and contributing to business strategy.Excellent analytical, modelling, and communication skills.Comfortable working both hands-on and at a strategic level.Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience preferred.This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the future direction of the business.
