Job Advert: Front-End Node Developer Salary: Up to £70,000 + package Location: London Victoria (approx. 1 day per week onsite)Clearance: SC Cleared or eligible for SC Clearance Sector: Government Digital Services (GDS)About the Role We are recruiting a Front-End / Full-Stack Developer for a permanent position working on a Government Digital Services (GDS)-aligned digital programme. You’ll be part of a delivery-focused team building user-centred, accessible, and secure digital services in line with GDS standards.This role suits a developer who enjoys working across the front end while remaining comfortable contributing to full-stack solutions.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality, user-centred digital services aligned to GDS standards.
- Build accessible, performant front-end solutions with the ability to contribute across the stack.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end developers in agile teams.
- Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and accessibility requirements.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
- Strong experience as a Front-End or Full-Stack Developer.
- Experience working on GDS or public sector digital projects (highly desirable).
- Solid knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks and web standards.
- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and secure development practices.
- SC clearance or eligibility to obtain SC clearance is essential.
- Hybrid role with approximately one day per week onsite in London Victoria.
