Revenue Accountant
As Revenue Accountant, this role spans across finance and revenue operations working for this international SaaS business. Responsibilities will include.
- Own the month end revenue recognition process including preparation of revenue journals
- Maintain recognised revenue schedules by customer ensuring compliance with ASC606/IFRS15 principles relevant to SaaS subscriptions and multi-year contracts
- Partner with RevOps to ensure alignment between Salesforce data, billing records, revenue schedules for accurate ARR/MRR reporting
- Review closed-won opportunities and bookings in Salesforce to validate accuracy of commercial terms, pricing and customer data
- Manage all billing processes including generation of invoices both contract renewals and new business
- Administer customer billing portals ensuring correct PO’s and customer information
- Manage the monthly and quarterly sales commission cycle
- Support cross functional projects to drive efficiencies across deal desk and finance
What skills will you have?
- Experience within a SaaS or technology business
- Experience of revenue recognition and reviewing contracts
- Experience working with CRMs, Salesforce would be desirable
- Ability to partner with different departments
- Experience of billings
