Junior Business Systems Analyst
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career in business systems and digital transformation. As a Junior Business Systems Analyst, you will support the systems team in maintaining and improving our business applications. You’ll assist in the day-to-day system support, help create and maintain support documentation, help create document business processes, and take part in system testing and data management.
This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in technology and business operations, who enjoys problem solving and learning how systems support a fast-paced business like MM Flowers.
To work as part of the wider team delivering transition and change within MM Flowers business units.
To proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Keep the lights on our legacy, but critical systems as we go though our digital transformation.
- Support the team with system administration and user support across core business systems (ERP, MRP, WMS, EDI).
- Be the first line support and deal with support tickets affectively for all business systems
- Work with business users to gather information and understand system requirements.
- Support data management activities and ensure data accuracy across systems.
- Help identify and suggest improvements to existing system processes.
- Maintain good communication with stakeholders and escalate issues where needed.
- Updating of documentation when changes are implemented
- Creating and maintaining support documentation that can be used by other support functions and the business
- Be the bridge between 3 party Suppliers and the business
What you can already do
- 1 year of experience in a systems, IT support, or business analysis role (or relevant internship/placement experience). Or, you could have been using these systems in an office or warehouse or production role.
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Interest in business systems and digital transformation.
- Experienced using MS-Office, Excel skills advantageous.
- Basic understanding of how ERP or other business applications work (training will be provided).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, comfortable working with people at all levels across the business.
- Comfortable working with data and have basic SQL/reporting skills or willing to learn these. (Training will be provided)
- Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Experience with working with external customers (3 party suppliers of software is advantageous)
- Curious, eager to learn, and proactive and Keen to progress.
- Able to work well with others and take direction.
- Self-motivated with attention to detail.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking on new challenges.
- Eager to support the wider team and be involved in additional task.
- Happy to work on multiple things at once
