Internal Communications Partner (6-Month FTC - c.£60,000-£70,000p.a)
Location: Hybrid - East of England (3 days on site per week)Contract: Interim, 6-month FTC (potential for extension)Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday (flexible between 8am-6pm)
About the Role
We're seeking a highly capable Internal Communications Partner to join my clients HR team and lead communications for a major business transformation programme.
This role will business partner senior leaders and the executive team, shaping and delivering the internal communications strategy to engage employees and support successful delivery of a large-scale technology rollout. You'll bring expertise in strategic communication planning, change engagement, and leadership messaging, ensuring our people are informed, inspired, and supported throughout this transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the communication strategy for the technology transformation project, partnering with senior leaders across the business.
- Translate complex project information into engaging, accessible narratives for diverse internal audiences.
- Advise and coach leaders on communication approaches that build trust, transparency, and engagement.
- Ensure alignment of transformation communications with overall business objectives and BAU comms.
- Oversee communication plans for go-live, aftercare, and ongoing project phases.
- Evaluate effectiveness of communication channels and campaigns, using insights to continuously improve.
- Work closely with the Internal Communications Advisor to ensure consistency and quality across all internal messaging.
- Act as a key point of contact between the HR and Transformation teams (IT-led project).
About You
- Proven experience as an Internal Communications Business Partner, Manager, or Senior Advisor.
- Strong track record leading communications for major transformation or technology projects.
- Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior leadership.
- Strategic thinker with strong planning and organisational ability.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences.
- Comfortable working at pace and managing multiple priorities within complex, evolving projects.
