Procure to Pay SAP Superuser
Procure to Pay SAP Superuser | Newark | Hybrid (3 office, 2 home) | £45,000 - £56,000 + Bonus
Are you ready to step into a high-impact role supporting one of the UK's most significant finance system transitions? This is your opportunity to shape the way a large-scale finance operation works - influencing change, driving adoption, and being the go-to expert for SAP S4/HANA.
This role places you at the heart of a UK-wide SAP implementation project, where your finance systems experience and people-focused mindset will make a genuine difference. You'll support the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) function in adapting to a brand-new ERP environment, while helping colleagues navigate system changes with confidence.
What you'll be doing
As the Finance SAP Superuser for the PTP pillar, you'll act as the crucial link between the business and the project team. You'll ensure day-to-day tasks are executed effectively in SAP, helping your team transition from legacy systems to a streamlined, standardised way of working.
Key responsibilities include:
- Be the first line of support for finance colleagues using SAP - answering questions, resolving issues, and escalating where needed.
- Champion change by communicating clearly and guiding teams through new processes.
- Participate in key project activities including workshops, user testing, and go-live readiness.
- Support with data cleansing, training validation, and post-go-live troubleshooting.
- Influence the development of future training materials based on user feedback.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert, helping to improve processes and shape the future-state solution.
- Post-go-live, take a lead role in onboarding new starters and ensuring SAP use remains consistent and effective.
What you'll bring
- Solid experience within a shared service finance operation, ideally in a large, complex environment.
- Strong working knowledge of finance systems - S/4HANA experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical mindset with a knack for problem-solving and improving processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Able to operate in a fast-paced, change-driven environment with a proactive approach.
You'll thrive in this role if you're a natural influencer who understands the pressures of finance operations, loves systems, and enjoys guiding others through change.
What's in it for you?
- Salary £45,000 - £56,000
- Annual bonus scheme (up to 10%)
- Private medical insurance
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 from home
