Interim Financial Controller
Summary
Our client is looking for an Interim Financial Controller to join their team on a 3-6 month basis.

A London Based AI-driven SaaS company undergoing significant transformation and preparing to launch a new hardware based initiative in the US.
The Role
- Own and manage the timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring the integrity of the group financial statements.
- Supervise and review all day-to-day accounting operations.
- Manage the year-end group and regional audit process.
- Ensure all local statutory and tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Support the budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
- Work closely alongside the hardware team to monitor asset tracking and volumes.
- Oversee the wider business metrics tracking, such as typical SaaS KPIs, and ensure the underlying financial data integrity.
- Own and administer the finance tech stack, driving operational improvements by leveraging technology, automating workflows, and ensuring systems are optimised for scalability.
The Successful Candidate
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, or similar.
- Experience managing and tracking physical assets.
- Change management experience – experience supporting businesses through change.
- Commercially and strategically driven, with hands-on involvement in performance metrics, planning, budgeting and forecasting.
- Highly proficient with financial technology, including implementing and enhancing finance platforms
- Adept with finance systems, including implementing and enhancing finance platforms, and consistently seeking opportunities to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Skilled in coordinating financial obligations across multiple countries, managing group-level audits, and partnering with external specialists on statutory reporting and tax compliance in various regions.
