Legal Counsel

We are supporting a UK-based technology infrastructure and services business operating across utilities, smart technology and data-driven platforms with the appointment of multiple in-house lawyers to join a small, GC-led legal team during a period of operational pressure and organisational transition.

These roles sit at the core of the legal function and provide significant exposure to complex, high-value commercial work.

The roler

• Advising on large-scale procurements, often running for 6–12 months

• Focus on IT, telecoms, managed services and outsourcing arrangements

• Reviewing and negotiating complex contractual documentation

• Providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice to senior stakeholders

• Supporting business-critical projects in a fast-moving environment

What the team is looking for

• Strong commercial judgement and risk awareness

• Ability to identify inconsistencies, drafting issues and commercial exposure

• Confidence operating with autonomy in a lean legal team

• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management

Level

• Senior Legal Counsel preferred

• Strong Legal Counsel candidates (circa 3–4 PQE) will be considered

• Role level may be adjusted for the right candidate
