About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Cutover Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of cutover activities for a major SAP transformation programme. This is a high-impact ole within a complex, multi-stream delivery environment, requiring strong stakeholder management, meticulous planning, and deep hands-on experience with SAP deployment cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end cutover planning, strategy, and execution across multiple SAP workstreams.
- Develop and manage the cutover plan, timelines, dependencies, and readiness checkpoints, ensuring all business and technical teams are aligned.
- Coordinate across functional, technical, and business teams to ensure smooth transition from legacy to target SAP environments.
- Oversee mock cutovers, dress rehearsals, and dry runs to validate readiness and mitigate risk ahead of go-live.
- Manage cutover command centre activities during go-live, providing direction, oversight, and real-time issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Release Management, Basis, Data Migration, and Business Leads to ensure end-to-end alignment.
- Track and report cutover status, issues, and progress to programme leadership and key stakeholders.
- Drive post-cutover stabilisation planning and hypercare handover.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of SAP programme delivery experience, with at least 3 full-cycle implementations in a Cutover Lead / Manager role.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA environments and migration approaches.
- Proven expertise in cutover planning, execution management, and cross-functional coordination.
- Experience working in large-scale, multi-vendor transformation programmes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to operate under pressure, with a focus on precision and risk mitigation during go-live.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within consulting environments or with global clients in complex delivery landscapes.
- Exposure to data migration, technical release management, or infrastructure readiness activities.
- PMP / PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification.
