Project Manager – 6-month contract – Remote – Outside of IR35

My Customer is looking for a highly capable Technical Project Manager to lead 2–3 interconnected infrastructure projects within a fast-paced transformation programme. The bulk of the work focuses on M&A integration and divestment, with an additional data centre migration project closely linked to these activities.

This Project Management role requires someone who is confident navigating complex technical landscapes, collaborating with senior stakeholders, and driving delivery across multiple workstreams.

Key Experience from the Project Manager

• Outside of IR35
• Extensive experience in M&A / Divestment programmes – ideally owning full lifecycle integration or carve-out activity.
• Strong technical infrastructure background, comfortable discussing detail with engineering teams (networks, servers, storage, hosting, cloud, etc.).
• Experience delivering data centre migrations, infrastructure transitions or large-scale technical separation projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management across IT, business units, and third parties.
• Ability to handle complexity, conflicting priorities, and time-critical activities.
• SAP experience is a bonus, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager

• End-to-end delivery of a set of related infrastructure projects including:
  • Integration of a recent M&A
  • Decoupling and separation activities for a divestment
  • Migration and restructuring of data centre services
• Develop and manage delivery plans, risks, dependencies, and milestones across all projects.
• Coordinate between technical engineering teams, external partners, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure readiness for cutovers, transitions, and handover to BAU.
• Maintain strong governance and provide clear progress reporting to programme leadership.

The Project Manager can work remotely for the duration of the 6-month contract.
