Our client, a leading consultancy in the SatComm sector, is currently seeking a highly skilled Software Technical Program Manager. This is a permanent role, ideal for those looking to make their mark on innovative and cutting-edge projects within the space industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex software and hardware projects from inception to completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including ASIC designers and hardware engineers
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and provide regular updates
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and uncertainties
• Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and technical briefings
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment to drive project success

Job Requirements:

• Proven track record of leading technology projects in HW/SW design
• Experience in program management
• R&D background
• Background in satellite, aviation, or networking industry is advantageous
• BSc/MSc in engineering or MBA
• Strong time-management, organisational, problem-solving, and escalation skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a high-demand and dynamic environment
• Team player with a proactive approach to project management
