Location: Hybrid (UK-based – occasional travel to London required)

Salary: £65,000 – £70,000

The client's IT Infrastructure team is focused on simplifying how employees work, engage, and collaborate by introducing new platforms and services. This role supports the vision of creating a truly digital workplace by leveraging Microsoft 365 services to meet the needs of colleagues across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Entra ID.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for M365-related incidents and service requests.
  • Monitor system health, usage, and security compliance across the environment.
  • Drive adoption of M365 tools and features to enhance collaboration and productivity.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Manage licensing for Microsoft platforms and services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security policies and data governance standards.
  • Manage identity and access controls, MFA, and device compliance.
  • Contribute to infrastructure projects focused on workplace modernisation and security.
  • Leverage PowerShell and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) to automate workflows and administrative tasks.
  • Other duties as directed by line management.

Core Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Azure, Teams, and Intune.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and M365 security/compliance tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Broad expertise in on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure and security technologies.
  • Understanding of cloud governance frameworks, including IAM, encryption, and compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results-driven self-starter with high levels of initiative, energy, and mobility.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and customer-focused management skills.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of working in multi-site environments.
  • Experience working in ITIL environments, particularly Change, Incident, and Problem Management.
