Executive Recruiter
Purpose of the Role To deliver world-class executive recruitment services to senior Technology & Operations leadership, ensuring the organisation attracts, engages and hires exceptional executive-level talent.Accountabilities
- Develop and implement executive recruitment strategies aligned to organisational priorities, including identifying potential candidates through direct sourcing, professional networks, social platforms, market mapping and referrals.
- Build and maintain an executive talent needs assessment to anticipate future hiring requirements and sustain a robust, diverse talent pipeline.
- Create compelling job briefs and recruitment marketing materials, manage sourcing and screening activity, conduct executive interviews, provide hiring recommendations and lead offer negotiation.
- Oversee onboarding activities for senior hires, including coordination of orientation and transition processes to ensure a seamless integration into the organisation.
- Monitor, analyse and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire and source effectiveness, identifying opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Partner with senior stakeholders, including hiring managers, HR colleagues, external search firms and industry networks, to strengthen the executive talent pipeline and ensure best-practice recruitment delivery.
- Contribute to or set functional strategy, drive requirements, recommend change initiatives, plan resources and budgets, and oversee the management and continuous improvement of policies, processes and governance.
- If leading a team: define roles and responsibilities, plan for future capability needs, coach and guide team members, influence performance and reward decisions, and lead specialists to deliver both tactical and strategic priorities.
- If operating as an individual contributor: act as a subject matter expert, guide technical direction, lead complex multi-year assignments, mentor less experienced colleagues, and provide insight that informs long-term strategy, risk and organisational decision-making.
- Advise senior stakeholders and leadership teams on functional and cross-functional impacts, ensuring alignment to business strategy and priorities.
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks in line with organisational control, governance and compliance requirements.

- Collaborate across business areas to remain aligned with organisational strategy, operational activity, and emerging talent needs.

- Build and maintain trusting, influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders, using strong negotiation and advisory skills to achieve business objectives.
- Extensive experience in executive-level hiring within Technology & Operations, ideally in complex, regulated or global environments.
- Proven track record in direct sourcing and senior executive search (contingent or retained).
- In-house recruitment experience within large-scale organisations.
- Strong understanding of Technology & Operations organisational structures and leadership roles.
- Excellent stakeholder management, advisory and influencing skills, with a track record of partnering at senior and executive levels.
- Ability to apply critical skills such as risk and control awareness, change and transformation capability, strategic thinking, digital fluency and business acumen.
