Infrastructure Engineer Senior 12 Month FTC

Infrastructure Engineer | 12 Month FTC | £70,000 | Flexible Hybrid (London) | Microsoft 365 | Networking

We're looking for a senior Infrastructure & EUC Engineer to act as the right hand to our Infrastructure Manager. This is a visible, strategic role, you'll not only keep our core IT services resilient but also shape how our modern workplace evolves across Microsoft 365, Azure, and Cisco Meraki.

You'll deputise in the manager's absence, own supplier relationships, and lead national infrastructure projects, while still keeping hands-on with the tech.

What you'll do

• Act as deputy to the Infrastructure Manager overseeing infrastructure projects and supplier relationships.
• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure (on-prem & Azure).
• Own Microsoft 365 services (Intune, Entra ID, Purview, Teams, SharePoint).
• Drive resilience, disaster recovery, backup, high-availability design.
• Provide 3rd line escalation for complex infra/EUC issues.
• Lead national projects, e.g., Meraki rollouts, Windows 11 migration, Intune uplift.
• Produce technical documentation and support ISO 27001 compliance.
• Share knowledge across IT, bridging service desk and technical teams.

• Cisco Meraki networking
• Scripting/automation (PowerShell, IaC)

What we're looking for

• Significant hands-on EUC & infrastructure experience, with strategic exposure.
• Confidence managing suppliers and engaging stakeholders.
• Track record leading projects (migrations, rollouts, security uplift).
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to step into management responsibilities when required.
