You’ve got the confidence to handle trickier support issues and the curiosity to get stuck into project work too. Whether it’s a stubborn desktop fault, a server migration, or a bit of hands-on networking, you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and get involved.

This is your chance to join an established internal IT team in Portsmouth, providing a mix of 2nd/3rd line support and infrastructure project delivery, roughly a 50/50 split initially.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing 2nd and 3rd line support to internal users across a busy organisation
• Getting involved in infrastructure projects, upgrades, rollouts, migrations, and more
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues across servers, desktops, networks, and M365
• Working hands-on with technologies like Windows Server, VMware, and Microsoft 365
• Supporting the wider IT team with documentation, knowledge sharing, and best practices
• Helping identify and deliver improvements across the IT environment

What you’ll bring to the table:

• Solid experience in a 2nd line support role (with some 3rd line exposure too)
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, M365, and virtualisation (VMware or similar)
• Confidence to troubleshoot independently and take ownership of your work
• Good grasp of networking fundamentals - switches, firewalls, DNS/DHCP
• A team player mindset, helpful, dependable, and happy to get stuck in
• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, on-site support role with lots of variety
