The role is a temporary Finance Data Analyst position focused on building and validating a data cube to improve Management Information reporting and support strategic decision-making. Description

• Temporary Finance Data Analyst role (3-6 months), hybrid working in Twickenham.
• Support a strategic Data Cube project for Management Information (MI) reporting.
• Build, validate, and maintain a backlog, revenue, and margins data cube.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems (Xero, Data Rails, Excel).
• Develop documentation for data structures, processes, and validation checks.
• Create new reports from the data cube for operational and board requirements.
• Perform detailed analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
• Provide adhoc data queries and reporting support to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and data governance standards.
• Produce outputs such as reconciliations, KPI validation, profitability checks, and cash-flow analysis.

Profile

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL) and knowledgeable in data modelling concepts.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting and management information processes.
• Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Desirable: experience with BI projects, ETL processes, and finance systems (e.g., Salesforce, Xero, Data Rails).
