Description
- Temporary Finance Data Analyst role (3-6 months), hybrid working in Twickenham.
- Support a strategic Data Cube project for Management Information (MI) reporting.
- Build, validate, and maintain a backlog, revenue, and margins data cube.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems (Xero, Data Rails, Excel).
- Develop documentation for data structures, processes, and validation checks.
- Create new reports from the data cube for operational and board requirements.
- Perform detailed analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
- Provide adhoc data queries and reporting support to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and data governance standards.
- Produce outputs such as reconciliations, KPI validation, profitability checks, and cash-flow analysis.
Profile
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL) and knowledgeable in data modelling concepts.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting and management information processes.
- Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Desirable: experience with BI projects, ETL processes, and finance systems (e.g., Salesforce, Xero, Data Rails).
