Data Quality Analyst

This role focuses on designing and implementing data quality frameworks and processes across the organization, ensuring data integrity is embedded into major transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will lead governance activities, define standards, and drive continuous improvement in data quality.

Description

• Define and document cross-entity data quality processes in collaboration with the Data Governance team.
• Design and maintain data quality heatmaps for governance bodies.
• Provide data quality input to the Data Council and working groups.
• Act as the link between EMEA DMO and major transformation programs to ensure data quality is prioritized.
• Work with project teams to integrate data quality into project management practices.
• Run business and technical working groups to capture, understand, and resolve data quality issues.
• Document data quality rules and controls with data owners and metadata leads.
• Design SLAs, measures, and supplier agreements for data quality.
• Develop training materials and deliver initial sessions.
• Mentor junior team members and provide hands-on support.

Profile

• Experienced Data Quality SME with a proven track record in process design and documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Financial services experience preferred but not essential.
• Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on capacity.

Job Offer

• A competitive daily rate circa £700 per day (umbrella rate, Inside IR35)
• Temporary position within a large organisation in the financial services industry.
