Data Governance Specialist
This role focuses on defining and implementing a robust data governance framework, including operating models, processes, and data standards. The successful candidate will lead governance initiatives, support key committees, and ensure alignment with major transformation programs.

Description
- Define and document the target operating model and interim phases.
- Develop terms of reference for key roles and responsibilities.
- Design and document business processes and data standards.
- Support Data Council and working group meetings.
- Assist in defining control frameworks and deploying processes for BAU readiness.
- Create training materials and deliver initial sessions.
- Ensure alignment with major transformation initiatives.
- Mentor junior team members and provide hands-on support.
Profile
- Experienced Data Governance and Data Quality SME with a proven track record in process design and documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Financial services experience preferred but not essential.
- Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on capacity.
Job Offer
- A competitive daily rate circa £750 per day (umbrella rate, Inside IR35)
