Description

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accurate bookkeeping records are maintained.
• Support the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions as needed.
• Prepare and process journal entries, including accruals and prepayments.
• Assist with VAT returns and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Provide support for annual audits, including documentation preparation.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• Educational qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• An understanding of VAT, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
