Senior Accountant

Fast paced FinTech is adding a Senior Accountant to their growing finance team.

Client Details

Global FinTech business with big plans to expand. Office based in the City of London. Hybrid.

Description

Working in a small team, your role will be broad in scope and very hands on and include:

  • Preparation of full set of management accounts from start to finish
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, including variance analysis.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Oversee VAT returns and ensure timely submissions.
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations and transactions.
  • Administer payroll processes in conjunction with bureau for UK and Europe
  • Statutory account at period ends
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Assist in the implementation and optimisation of Netsuite software.

Profile

This is a small team and will require a hands-on candidate to take full ownership of the management accounting function from start to finish.

You will be able to demonstrate that you are/have:

  • Qualified in ACA / ACCA / CIMA Accountant (or be a strong Qualified by Experience candidate)
  • Management Accounting
  • Budgets and Forecasting
  • VAT treatment
  • Payroll
  • NetSuite
  • Able to start immediately or on a one month notice period (max)
