Person Specification

Knowledge

• Understanding of data analytics processes and reporting workflows.
• Knowledge of NHS datasets, primary care indicators, or health service performance frameworks is advantageous.
• Experience working in a data, reporting, or analytics support role (healthcare or public sector desirable).
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Excel, or SQL-based reporting platforms.
• Proven ability to handle, clean, and manage large datasets with attention to accuracy and consistency.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and quality assurance.
• Good analytical thinking and basic data visualisation skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Confident working with spreadsheets, databases, and data platforms in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Educated to A-level standard or equivalent, additional data or IT qualifications desirable.

Personal Qualities

• Able to work well under pressure and deliver to tight timescales.
• Well organised
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills to individuals at all levels within and outside of the organisation
• Strong work ethic as part of a team and working on your own initiative.
• Able to respond effectively to changing priorities.
• Logical and systematic in work processes.
