CNC Router Programmer/Operator

Job Description

Were looking for a skilled CNC Router Programmer/Operator to join one of our prestigious clients in Castle Donington!

In this role, youll set up, operate, and programme CNC routers to produce high-precision components. Youll work with a variety of materials and be trusted to deliver fine, intricate work with attention to detail. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!

What youll be doing

• Set up, programme, and operate CNC routers to produce precise components
• Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models (metric & imperial)
• Select tools, speeds, feeds, and cutting paths for optimum results
• Monitor production, perform inspections, and ensure quality standards
• Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments as needed
• Minimise waste by planning and reusing material offcuts
• Collaborate with the team to complete jobs efficiently and safely

Hours

Monday-Thursday 7am-3pm (flexible)

Friday 7am-1pm

Pay

£27,584.96 per annum

Skills/Experience Required

• Read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and CAD models
• Operate CNC machines and use CAM software (e.g., eDrawings, PC CAM Plus)
• Work to tight tolerances with precision and attention to detail
• Time-Served Engineering Apprenticeship or HNC/HND equivalent
