Technology Support Specialist

We are working with a leading international professional services firm to recruit a Technology Support Specialist for their London office.

This role sits within a busy Information Services team responsible for providing day-to-day technology support across the office. It offers excellent exposure to a professional services environment, close collaboration with international colleagues, and hands-on involvement across user support, meeting technology, and IT operations.

The successful candidate will provide timely and effective IT support to users across the London office, ensuring a high standard of service at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing remote and desk-side support for laptops, mobile devices, and portable media

• Supporting meeting rooms, including hybrid meetings using Teams and Zoom, events, and presentations

• Logging and managing support requests via the internal helpdesk system

• Proactively troubleshooting issues and escalating where appropriate

• Supporting office moves, PC builds and reimaging, hardware replacements, and temporary equipment setups

• Working closely with colleagues locally and internationally to ensure seamless support coverage

There will be occasions where working outside standard office hours is required, reflecting the service-driven nature of the role.

About you

• At least 12 months’ experience in an IT support or service desk role (professional services environment preferred)

• Strong working knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft 365

• Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS/Android) and remote access tools

• Confident, professional, and service-focused with the ability to prioritise effectively

• Comfortable with hands-on technical tasks, including moving and installing IT equipment
