Data Engineer

Data Engineer – Investment Management – 12 month FTC – up to £75,000 basic

A boutique Investment Management organisation, based in the City of London, are looking for a Data Engineer to join them on an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

You will be joining the Development and Operations team supporting the business across the implementation of new solutions to support their growth.

The successful candidate will be working closely with numerous teams to move away from Excel-based processes and champion a more technology first approach to solutions.

Alongside this, you will develop DevOps solutions, develop data structures and calculation engines whilst also specify and develop GUIs to maintain a forward-thinking approach to technology.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years' experience in Data Engineer or Data Architecture environments
  • Advanced knowledge of .NET (ASP .NET Core), SQL Server and Power BI
  • Proven experience using Programming Languages like C#, Python or Java
  • Experience working with Bloomberg Data Licence is highly advantageous
  • Investment Management experience is essential
