Conversion Rate Optimisation Analyst

The Role

We are looking for a data-driven Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Analyst to improve the performance of our Shopify eCommerce experience. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, designing and executing experiments, and translating customer behaviour data into actionable insights that drive revenue growth.

Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)

  • Support the development and execution of CRO strategies to enhance user experience and improve conversion rates.
  • Assist in A/B and multivariant testing programs, using Visually, Contentsquare and other testing platforms.
  • Work closely with the Senior CRO Analyst, marketing, and development teams to improve site navigation, usability, and customer journey.
  • Utilise heatmaps, session recordings, and user behaviour analysis to identify friction points and recommend website optimisations across PDPs, PLPs, cart, checkout and landing pages.
  • Contribute to the development of CRO roadmaps to ensure continuous digital experience improvements.

Data & Analytics

  • Track e-commerce analytics for New Era Cap & ‘47 EMEA, ensuring KPIs align with business goals and drive online growth.
  • Extract, analyse, and interpret data from multiple sources, including Google Analytics (GA4), Shopify, Visually, and Contentsquare.
  • Support with regular business performance updates to stakeholders.
  • Work with the web, marketing, and agency teams to implement data-driven recommendations.
  • Support team with website development releases, measuring their impact and providing insights.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of digital acquisition channels, including SEO, PPC, Affiliates, and paid media campaigns.
  • Support marketing teams in evaluating campaign performance and making data-driven optimisations.

Required Skills

  • +1 years’ experience in CRO, digital analytics and ecommerce
  • Experience in working with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms
  • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, A/B testing tools, Contentsquare
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in E-commerce & CRO
  • Naturally inquisitive towards in-depth research and analysis
  • Great attention to detail with a problem-solving attitude
  • You are comfortable translating complex strategies into simple, compelling actionable plans
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, coupled with the proven ability to set priorities, manage deadlines, workloads, and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications and Achievements

Education

  • Degree or equivalent from a related Degree, proven experience from a previous role.

Please note that this role is 4 days working in our Milton Keynes office, and 1 optional work from home day.
