First Line Engineer

Role: 1st Line Engineer

Location: Liverpool (Office Based)

Salary: £26-28k

About the Role

We are looking for a 1st Line Engineer to join our team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving and helping people with their IT issues.

As a 1st Line Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for our users, providing support by phone, email, and remote tools. You will log, diagnose, and resolve issues where possible, and escalate more complex problems to 2nd Line support.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to IT support requests in a professional and timely manner
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Log all incidents and requests accurately
• Escalate issues where needed
• Always provide excellent customer service

Skills and Experience

• Previous IT support experience (desirable, not essential)
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
• Ability to prioritise and manage workload
• A problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
