ERP Implementation Lead

The Job The Role

As ERP Implementation Lead, you will lead the ERP implementation from a finance and reporting standpoint, partnering closely with finance, operations, and supply chain. You will act as the bridge between technical teams and business users—challenging existing processes, driving standardisation, and ensuring the organisation is fully equipped for a modern data and reporting environment.

This is a hands-on, visible role with direct access to the senior leadership team.A 12 month Fixed Term Contract opportunity4 days on site and 1 day working from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the finance workstream of the ERP implementation.
  • Oversee the replacement of the current BI/reporting system with an integrated solution.
  • Design, develop, and deliver financial reporting and FP&A frameworks for the group.
  • Collaborate across finance, supply chain, operations, and IT to ensure consistent data, processes, and controls.
  • Champion change—engaging a mature workforce and supporting teams through new ways of working.
  • Work closely with the Finance Director, Group Financial Controller, and Supply Chain leadership.

  • Proven background in ERP implementation (any major platform; Odoo an advantage).
  • Strong FP&A skill set with the ability to build dashboards, reporting packs, and BI tools.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, product costing, and supply chain processes.
  • Confident stakeholder manager, able to influence and drive change.
  • Resilient, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously.

Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), particularly if interested in long-term progression to Group Financial Controller.
  • QBE candidates may also considered if where relevant and essential experience is evident.
