UX/UI Designer

We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to take ownership of the end-to-end design process for customer-facing digital products. This is a hands-on role where you’ll have significant influence over the look, feel, and functionality of the company’s e-commerce platform and related tools. You’ll work closely with marketing, e-commerce, and development teams to deliver intuitive, visually consistent, and conversion-focused designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimise user journeys across desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs using tools such as Figma.
  • Lead UX research initiatives, including user testing, persona development, and data-driven design improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and best practice UX principles.
  • Contribute to the development of a design system and component library.
  • Support ongoing A/B testing and conversion optimisation efforts.
You will be required to be in the office, just north of Newcastle, 2 days per week.Person
  • 5+ years’ experience in UX/UI design, ideally within e-commerce or SaaS environments.
  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end design solutions (wireframes, prototypes, UI).
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, user-centred design, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with Figma (and ideally Miro) for design and prototyping.
  • Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present design decisions to stakeholders.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI process and outcomes.
